In the summer of 2024, a client reached out to us to renovate their upstairs bathroom. There were several aspects involved in this renovation. Of course, there was the aesthetics, but function was also a huge part of the problem

The bathroom, last updated in the late ’80s, was due for an upgrade. What started as a practical need soon turned into a complete transformation, one that exceeded their expectations in every way.

FINDING THE RIGHT FIT
The client knew what she wanted. She and her husband had just finished a renovation in Florida and were familiar with the process. They knew all the moving pieces that would be at play. Finding the right team to manage all those moving pieces was critical to pulling off this dream renovation. Their search for the perfect contractor led them to Authentic Carpentry—through social media, of all place.

The package deal was huge. Jake handled the big picture, Ben managed the project, and having Meredith (the on-site designer) included in the process was incredible. It was a big deal for me to have someone to bounce ideas off of, and then someone to handle the nuts and bolts of it.”
FROM VISION TO REALITY
Through our unique Pre-construction process, we were able to capture the customer’s vision and build a plan to make it a reality. We outlined all the materials needed and timelines. We balanced budgets and supply issues, and through it all the customer was able to monitor and track progress in their digital portal. When the project wrapped up, all the pieces had come together and her vision had come to life.
